About Cal Acres, California, MD

Cal Acres is a small residential area inside the California census-designated place in St. Mary's County. Most homes are along Cal Acres Lane, close to Elmbrook Drive and Lakeview Drive.

The neighborhood is only a few streets in size, so homes come up for sale here infrequently. It lies a short distance from the center of California, with Solomons across the Patuxent River to the east and Lexington Park to the southeast.

Because there are so few homes, The Southside Group Real Estate suggests watching nearby California streets at the same time to see more options.

Cal Acres Real Estate

Cal Acres homes are detached single-family houses, many built from the late 1970s through the early 2000s according to public property records. Lots here tend to be larger than in the townhome sections of California.

With larger lots, ask about well and septic versus public utilities, outbuildings, driveway access and any easements on the survey.

Current listings and recent comparable sales are the best way to judge value, since only a handful of Cal Acres homes sell in any given year.
